English as a Second Language. Parenting and U. S. Citizenship.
Classes are offered on a regular basis free of charge to HSC clients. An important aspect of the classes is the cultural orientation component. This component makes the acculturation process more effective, successful and productive.
Workplace Spanish Classes.
HSC offers Spanish coursed to professionals and businesses in the community having an interest in enhancing the quality of services provided to the Hispanic Community. Classes are offered at a charge.
Cultural Competency Training
Designed to create an understanding of Latino cultural styles and the importance of providing culturally competent services that do not rely on stereotypes. Training is tailored to the special needs of agencies or employers, and is offered at a charge.
